Problems with Vista and 8e6 Authenticator (authenticat.exe)

If you run into problems with authenticat.exe and Windows Vista users, be sure you're using  the latest version of the 8e6 Authenticator (authenticat.exe).

As new versions of authenticat.exe become available, they are included with the R3000 software patches. If you would like to obtain the latest version of authenticat.exe, do the following:


1.  Patch the R3000 to the latest version.

2.  After applying all the patches, download a new copy of authenticat.exe by going to System / Authentication / Enable/Disable Authentication / Download 8e6 Authenticator.
