I see the AD Agent and Novell Agent in the GUI. Can I use them for authentication? |

As of the current R3000 version 2.0.07.33, the two polling agents for authentication (AD Agent and Novell eDirectory Agent) are available for usage, however with some restrictions. For the AD Agent, it is currently has only been released for Active Directory environments with 2200 users or less. If you meet this requirement, you can contact 8e6 Technical Support for the installation file and documentation. If you have over 2200 users and would still like to employ the AD Agent, you will have to join our beta testing program at this point, as it is not been fully release to support such environments. Please contact 8e6 Technical Support for this as well. For the eDirectory Agent, this is has been released as well. However, you need to make sure that a certain patch has been applied to your eDirectory server itself. This patch can be found on the official Novell website: http://download.novell.com.
