How large should my backup files be?

When using the backup/restore feature, the size of the backup files that get created can vary some in size.  In general, these file sizes will range from 200k - 15000k, assuming that both library and configuration backups are made, with the majority tending towards 300k-5000k.

If your backup files are significantly larger than these ranges, it may be a sign that unnecessary files have gotten into your backups (such as an incompletely downloaded library files).  If they are, 8e6 Tech Support should be able to help clean out the backup folders.
