There are a few ways to view the current time that the R3000 is keeping. From the R3000 GUI on port 88, please try the following from the System Tab:
- The "top" command is real-time view of a running system. It summarizes and outputs various system information, including the current system time. To run this command, go to Diagnostics > System Command > "top(TOP CPU processes)". The output will appear in a pop-up window and the time will be listed in the first line. Note: the time shown will reflect the time the command is run, i.e. when you click "Execute."
- If this is a Source or Target box, you can view the system time in real time by going to Synchronization > Status.
- System time is also recorded in various log files, located under Diagnostics > View Log File.
If you are viewing the time and notice the time is off or incorrect, please view the Troubleshooting section of this Knowledge Base or call 8e6 Technical Support at 888-786-7999 opt. 3.
