Please remember that the usernames are retrieved from the Internet traffic logs that R3000 gathers, which is then sent to the Enterprise Reporter for processing. Please confirm if authentication is working successfully and user names are being logged in the R3000 logs. To view real time snap shot of the Internet traffic logs, browse to R3000 on port 88 and click on System tab. From the System menu, click on Diagnostics, select View Log Files and select Real-Time Traffic Logs. Click View button and confirm that the user names are being logged. If no usernames are present in the logs, then please test authentication and ensure that it is working properly. For help, please contact 8e6 technical support team. If above test is successful, then it is possible that username display setting in your Enterprise Reporter is not configured correctly. To verify this setting, browse to the Enterprise Reporter on port 88, from the Database drop down menu, select Username Display Setting. The current display name format should look as in the following: Domain Name\Department Name\User Name If it is displayed differently, the follow the steps below to reconfigure.
Please allow at least 2 hours for processing and usernames should start displaying in reports starting from the time of re-configuration of the Username Display Settings. If you still don't see usernames in reports, please contact 8e6 technical support team. |
