Using Enterprise Reporter, how can I have reports displaying user names in addition to IP addresses?

There are two methods that can be utilized to display usernames in addition to IP addresses in the ER reports.

1. IP.ID:  This is a built-in Enterrprise Report tool that uses NetBIOS to resolve IPs to user names or machine names.   To read more about this tool and how it works, please refer to Enterprise Reporter User's Manual. In order to enable IP.ID, browse to Enterprise Reporter GUI on port 88, go to
2. LDAP Authentication:  Since Enterprise Reporter reports on the Internet traffic logs that are received from R3000, configuring R3000 for user authentication will enable Enterprise Reporter to retrieve user name information from the logs and will, therefore, display it in the reports alongside IP addresses.
